By now you have most likely read or heard that the offices of the NFL have cut 150 jobs.  To put you at ease, please rest assured that I have been able to maintain my position with the organization and will continue as The Commish.  My salary and extensive array of perks are not impacted.  They do have me driving a hybrid, however…

Only a few short weeks until the playoffs begin.  The trophy is up for grabs again.  Let the fun begin.  And I have a quick and very informal poll and would appreciate your responses as we continue to improve the quality of our competition:

For communication regarding weekly picks, any related smack, being able to view the official score tracking spreadsheet and other related communication of interest, which of the following methods would you prefer:

TO SUBMIT WEEKLY PICKS AND TALK SMACK

1. Continue with e-mail, hopefully without date stamp issues from a few years ago.
2. Use dedicated web site (in development) that can be locked down for scores submission based on the atomic clock.
3. Call The Commish from a land line phone (prefer with rotary dial).

TO VIEW OFFICIAL SPREADSHEET WITH POINTS, VARIANCES, ETC.

1. Continue with e-mail attachment from The Commish
2. Use dedicated web site – live scoring being developed.
3. Track your own scores and hope you have more points than everyone else.

RECEIVE AND READ PERIODIC “THE SOURCE” NEWSLETTER

1. Continue with e-mail and attachment.
2. Maintain on dedicated web site with archived prior newsletters.
3. Just forget about it all after the Super Bowl.
