How to Make Game Picks

In: Updates

27 Dec 2009

Participants,

This is pretty easy to do every week before the kickoff of the 1st game of the weekend.  Please keep in mind that we have had some issues over the past few years with the timeliness of picks for all weekend games.

Here is the rule — the picks for all 4 WildCard and First Round games (4) must be submitted (see how to do this below) prior to the kickoff of the 1st game of those weekends.  Same applies for the Conference Championships  — the picks for those 2 games must be submitted prior to the kickoff of the 1st game that Sunday.  Ditto for the Super Bowl game — typically the game “starts” at 6:30pm (EST), so have your picks submitted by 6:00pm (you have 2 weeks to fret over your pick…).

Here is how you make your picks using this website:
1)  Navigate to (www.hewessbt.com).  You will mark this as a Favorite Place.
2)  Go to the Submit Picks tab at the far right of the top line.
3)  Key in your name (e.g., Buffalo Bill, Pete the Terp, etc.).
4)  Key in your email address (to receive a copy of your time-stamped picks).
5)  Type in your picks (just like you have done in the past using email).
6)  Hit the Send button.  You will receive an email shortly with your date stamped confirmation.
