Original HSBT participant. One of 2 participants to win the trophy twice in consecutive years (1994/1995 and 2010/2011). Took over role of The Commish in 2000; has guided expansion to 10 active participants and has made major rules decisions to keep the competition fair. Keeps all the important stats on HSBT. All time points leader with 22,131.

Buffalo Bill (1989 – Current)
Original HSBT participant; won first of 3 trophies in 1992. Has accumulated the 3rd most points in HSBT history with 21,287 (54.7 per game). Also holds the record for most goose-eggs (46). Last trophy was in 2003. Has picked game winner a record 242 times (64.4%).

Henrico FiveOh (1995 – Current)
Joined as part of original expansion in 1995. Captured his league-leading (along with Comeback Kid) 8th trophy in 2020. Has assumed several names (Lockport Lucky, Newfane Kid and Henrico FiveOh) during career. Dominated HSBT from 1999 – 2002 with 3 trophy wins over a 4-year span. Avid Buffalo Bills fan, known to dress entire body in logo apparel.

Greg the Great (1995 – Current)
Creator of hewessbt website. One of 2 original expansion participants. Won first of 6 trophies after 2nd season; his victories have been dominating, as evidenced by margin of victory and total points. First participant to amass over 1,000 points in a season (1,060 in 2015). Former Buffalo Bills and Chicago Bears fan, now roots for the Seattle Seahawks.

Pete the Terp (2007 – Current)
Joined league during expansion in 2007. Remarkable rookie season, with 11-0 record, 2nd place finish and 804 points; missed 1st trophy by 66 points with zero variance game. Only participant with zero variance 3 times. Captured his 1st trophy in convincing fashion, amassing a record 1,322 points with a 10-1 record in 2017.

Comeback Kid (1989 – Current)
Original HSBT participant and winner of 1st trophy (1989). Has captured 7 trophies during 32-year career. Surprise 2-year retirement after 2007 Super Bowl; made comeback in 2010, but was rusty with 7th place showing. Won 3 of the first 5 HSBT trophies (1989, 1991 and 1993). Crashed the 1,000 point total mark in 2016 & 2017 (with an 11-0 record).

JTB (2015 – Current)
Captured his 1st trophy of 2 trophies in 2018, with 1,052 points. Only participant to join the league in 2015, via marriage in August, 2014. Avid sports enthusiast and will watch any sport on TV at any time, including but not limited to, pro football. Cleveland Browns fan. When not watching pro football, he enjoys reading about pro football.

Ice Cold (2024 – Current)
First league member representing the 4th generation of participants. Son of HenricoFiveOh and grandson of Buffalo Bill. An avid Buffalo Bills fan. Also enjoys playing basketball, video games and eating spicy food. He is looking forward to competing with the esteemed members of the league. Suffered an ice cold rookie year with an 8th place finish.

Retired Participants
The Englishman (1989 – 1999)
Creator & founder of Hewes Super Bowl Trophy (HSBT) in 1988. Won his only HSBT trophy in 1990. Would have won more HSBT trophies had the Buffalo Bills not been in 4 consecutive Super Bowl games. Guided participants and rules refinement during the key early years. Was fond of the HSBT, playing golf, watching any sport on TV, and an occasional daily Manhattan during happy hour.
Ben the Butler (2007 – 2024)
One of 2 participants to join league during 2007 expansion. More than doubled point total during 2nd year from first year of competition (270 points to 545 points). Was on Injured Reserve in 2013 and again during the 2019, 2020, 2023, and 2024 seasons, prompting in his premature retirement prior to the 2025 season. Has participated in making a Super Bowl commercial.
